The largest bat in the world


The largest bat in the world can be found in the Philippines, specifically in Boracay Island, Bohol, Leyte, Cebu, Mindoro and Negros. This is commonly seen in high areas and rainforests. This creature is known as the giant golden crowned flying fox or the golden capped fruit bat. The name is derived from the gold fur located in its head.
